How is Kratom produced?
1. The Kratom Seed
For cultivating kratom trees, seeds from the dried flowers of the kratom tree are used:

2. Pre-Cultivation of Kratom Trees
The seeds are first sown and grown into cuttings in a protected environment before being planted in the kratom fields to mature into fully grown trees.

3. Harvesting the Kratom Leaves
The first step in the kratom production process is the harvesting of the leaves. The mature kratom leaves are manually picked by the workers and collected for further processing.

4. The Kratom Leaves Are Dried
In the second step, the previously harvested kratom leaves are dried indoors on shelves, protected from weather and light. Good ventilation is essential during this process. If not carefully controlled, fermentation can occur, potentially leading to the formation of the alkaloid 7-hydroxymitragynine.

5. The Production of Kratom Powder
- In the final step, the dried leaves are first crushed and separated from stems and veins.
- Next, any remaining leaf veins are manually sorted out.
- Finally, stainless steel machines are used to grind the leaf material into a fine powder.
