Maastricht University is inviting kratom users worldwide to participate in one of the most comprehensive scientific studies on kratom ever conducted. The goal is to better understand the effects, usage, and potential risks of kratom — and you can help!
🧪 Your experience matters
Under the slogan "Your recent Kratom purchase can help science!", researchers are inviting all adults (18+) who currently use or have used kratom to take part in a short anonymous online survey. It takes approximately 20–25 minutes.
🔍 What’s the purpose?
Scientists aim to learn how people use kratom, what effects they report, and what personal experiences they’ve had. The data will help inform public discussions, policymakers, and future research.
- Participation is completely anonymous.
- No personal data such as name or address is collected.
- The study was approved by the Ethical Review Committee of Psychology and Neuroscience at Maastricht University (Ref: ERCPN 290_02_01_2025).
- There is no financial compensation — your contribution supports science.
